1-Year Limited Warranty

Bunk warrants that The Gobbler Food Waste Processor will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal domestic use and service conditions for a period of one (1) year from the original date of purchase.

During the warranty period, Bunk will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any defective component or unit at no additional cost to you. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

The warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials or components.
  • Electrical or motor failure under normal operating conditions.
  • Mechanical defects arising from factory workmanship.
  • Any component that fails to perform its intended function under proper use.
  • Parts and labour costs for authorised repairs within the warranty period.

WHAT'S NOT COVERED

Warranty Exclusions

The following are expressly excluded from warranty coverage:

Misuse & Physical Damage

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, abuse, or accidents.
  • Physical damage including cracks, chips, dents, or broken parts caused due to normal wear and tear.
  • Damage from dropping, crushing, or exposure to excessive force.

Improper Use

  • Damage caused by processing non-food items (e.g., coconut, glass, metal, plastic, paper, bones, shells).
  • Damage resulting from overloading the unit beyond its rated capacity.
  • Use with incompatible power supplies, voltage surges, or unstable electrical connections.
  • Operation in environments outside the specified temperature and humidity range.

Unauthorised Service

  • Damage resulting from repairs, modifications, or tampering by unauthorised persons.
  • Removal or alteration of the serial number or warranty seal.
  • Use of non-Bunk accessories, attachments, or consumables not approved for The Gobbler.

Wear & External Causes

  • Normal wear and tear, including blades, gaskets, and filters after extended use.
  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect the unit's function (e.g., surface scratches, discolouration).
  • Damage caused by pests, water ingress (unless rated waterproof), or chemical exposure.
  • Damage caused by force majeure events including floods, fires, earthquakes, or lightning strikes.

Commercial Use

  • Products used in a commercial, institutional, or non-domestic setting. This warranty applies to residential household use only.

HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM

Claiming Your Warranty

To initiate a warranty claim for The Gobbler, please follow the steps below:

  1. Raise a Support Ticket
    Email support@bunkit.co.in with the subject line: 'The Gobbler – Warranty Claim'. Include your full name, order number, date of purchase, and a description of the defect.
  2. Provide Documentation
    You may be asked to provide proof of purchase (order confirmation or invoice), photographs or a short video clearly showing the defect, and the product serial number (found on the base of the unit).
  3. Technician Assessment
    A Bunk service representative will assess your claim. You may be asked to ship the unit to our service centre at Bunk's cost, or an authorised technician may be arranged to inspect the unit at your location, at Bunk's discretion.
  4. Resolution
    Once the defect is verified, Bunk will repair or replace the unit (or the defective component) within a reasonable time. The warranty period on a repaired or replaced unit does not reset — it continues from the original date of purchase.

Important: Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself or take it to an unauthorised service centre. Doing so will void your warranty.

SHIPPING & SERVICE

Sending Your Unit In

If the unit is required to be sent to a Bunk service centre for repair or inspection:

  • Bunk will bear the cost of inbound shipping for valid warranty claims. You will be notified of the return shipping label or courier pickup arrangement.
  • Pack the unit securely in its original packaging or equivalent protective material. Bunk is not responsible for damage occurring during transit due to inadequate packaging.
  • Include a copy of your support ticket reference number inside the package.
  • Replacement units will be dispatched to your registered delivery address at no additional charge.

LEGAL DISCLAIMERS

Limitation of Liability

This warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy available to you in respect of any defect in The Gobbler. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law:

  • Bunk's liability under this warranty is strictly limited to repair or replacement of the defective product or component.
  • Bunk shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, indirect, or special damages arising out of or related to the use or inability to use the product.
  • This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any other applicable Indian law.

All implied warranties, if any, are limited to the duration of this express warranty. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so the above limitation may not apply to you in full.

This Warranty Policy forms part of the Bunk Terms of Use. Bunk is a brand of Terraluxe Concepts Private Limited. All warranty disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
